Nashville Muslim Care (NMC)

As you know, because of the Coronavirus pandemic, many businesses are closed. Many people are not able to work, which translates into lost income

herefore, many families are struggling to make ends meet. Things are likely to get worse as the crisis continues. As Muslims, we have a religious obligation to find distressed community members and alleviate their suffering.

Islamic Center of Nashville, 12th South and Bellevue Mosque together have formed a committee to spearhead the effort of assisting the distressed community members. We need your helping hands. You can help by:

  • Informing us about community members in distress.
  • Donating. We have started with limited funding, which is likely to be exhausted within a few days. Please support the effort by donating your zakat and sadaqah money - from planned or unplanned sources.
  • Making dua for the whole ummah

Let us recognize that distressed community members are very honorable in the sight of Allah. Many are normally self-supporting; the Coronavirus crisis has put them in an extraordinary situation. Anyone of us could have been affected in this way. We all must be very grateful for whatever we have and try our best to help each other with the utmost respect and kindness
